About Me
and my future projects

My love for filmmaking comes from a long history of taking various machines apart and reassembling them. From an early age, I've been obsessed with how things work, and have always had a love for reading and fantasy worlds. For me, film combines both of these, as I can use practical knowledge and technical skills to create something completely different. I have made many short films and music videos, and I continue to create more as part of my school's film academy and outside of school. Stylistically, I want to create more experimental films, not only in visuals but also by using unique narratives. However, I particularly enjoy live multi-camera shoots as they involve high adrenaline and focus, as well as good teamwork and listening skills to follow the broadcast director.
What I'm Working On
I have been filming and editing a 20-minute documentary following a group of friends as they take their play up to Edinburgh Fringe. This has involved filming their rehearsals, their fundraising process and conducting interviews. I am currently in the post production stage of the documentary, and in August I will film the final sequences at the Fringe Festival.
Currently, I am working towards finishing a documentary based on conservation and rewilding in my area. Because I am creating it with very little assistance, it has involved contacting and interviewing contributors who work on the land around me. I have filmed 3 interviews and accompanying sequences. It is currently in the post-production stage.
Here is a segment from one of the interviews:
When trying to research for 'Swimming With Fishes' I decided to make a music video for Space Oddity by David Bowie, using my family as actors. Because I would not be assisted by school or anyone, it was interesting to learn to create something within very strict limitations. I will be refilming sections to finish the film, and then it will enter post-production. The video is about a young girl dreaming of being an astronaut.
